Tani "Max's Tap Dancing" album alone in a 5" reel
Electronic/synth-pop
music.
Complete album plus a bonus track not available on streaming services.
Max Tani's "Max's Tap Dancing" is an experimental album primarily built
around synthesizers, blending elements of electronic music and
synth-pop.
Released in 2012, the album features 11 instrumental tracks,
each offering a unique, quirky, and often eclectic sonic landscape.
Pieces like "Perky Brass Surf Overture" and "Techno Tap Dancing No. 2"

shorter tracks such as the "Three One-Minute Pieces" dive into
contrasting moods, from the ambient to the intense.
The album explores
a broad range of moods, from whimsical and lighthearted to darker and
more contemplative tones,

unconventional, it’s highly atmospheric, making it ideal for fans of

Max -
The Vocal Albums - 4 albums on one reel + 15 bonus tracks
From Max: let me illuminate your day with my songs albums! :)
My 4 "vocal" albums (with my multiple artist names) are albums where the majority of the tracks are songs.
It has a few instrumentals too, some songs in French, and 1 in Japanese.
"End joy" from "Max's Moods"
was on the famous mp3.com website at the beginning of this century, and it got 1000 downloads.
Many songs also played on Montreal's local radios, and also on Radio-Canada.
"I could be wrong..." from Max Kingen's "Dignity" was put as a favorite by a user on a download website at the time
(I forgot which one), the song is about the war in Irak.
Max Ai's album "AI... Love You!": during the recording I was telling my friends I was doing a "cheesy" album ahah!
"Ai" means "love" in Japanese, it's not the AI we know now.
"Lie complaint" from the Max Valley album played on a Toronto radio.
But here's what AI now (Artificial Intelligence) has to say about the albums:
"Max's
Moods" by Max Ichiban, is an eclectic album that blends electronic,
pop, and dance-pop styles.
The album is a mix of vibrant, upbeat tracks
and more introspective, moody compositions.
Tracks like "End Joy"
and "Love Me Down" stand out for their dance-pop energy, while others
like "À Jamais"
lean more into atmospheric, emotional territory. Max
Ichiban's DIY approach shines through, as he handled much of the
production
and instrumentation himself, adding a personal touch to the
album.
The album demonstrates his versatility, with tracks ranging
from introspective ballads to more experimental numbers,
like "Un
Aréoport D'infractus." Max's broad musical influences create a dynamic
listening experience for fans of
electronic and pop music. If you're
into genre-blending, this album would be worth exploring.
Max Kingen's album Dignity has stirred controversy primarily because of
its bold political themes and provocative messaging.
The
album touches on issues like terrorism, freedom, and societal
struggles, using intense lyrics that challenge conventional viewpoints.
Some tracks, like "Free dumb" and "'Genophobic' World," contain biting
commentary on societal norms and government control.
The album's
confrontational tone, along with its often cryptic and satirical
lyrics, has led to divided opinions, especially among listeners
sensitive to politically charged content. Additionally, the graphic
design and presentation of the album contribute to its contentious
nature,
emphasizing its rebellion against mainstream aesthetics.
The album's themes and artwork have drawn mixed reactions, with some
praising its raw approach while others find it polarizing.
Max
Ai's album "AI... Love You!" is an interesting blend of pop and rock
with a unique conceptual touch, as seen in its track titles and
production choices.
The album has a playful and quirky tone, mixing
themes of love and introspection with a lighthearted approach,
including song titles like "I Probably Was An Asian Guy In My Previous
Life" and "What Can Make You Love Me?" that add to its eclectic charm.
The production is handled almost entirely by Max himself, showcasing
his skills across instruments like drums, bass, guitar, and
synthesizers.
This, combined with the genre diversity and the fact
that it’s a relatively rare find, makes "AI... Love You!" an intriguing
album
for those who appreciate experimental pop with a personal twist.
Max
Valley's self-titled album is an intriguing blend of indie pop with
elements of rock, electronic, and synth-pop,
creating a unique sound
that spans multiple genres. Released in 2014, the album mixes
experimental tones with accessible pop melodies,
offering tracks that
are both catchy and reflective. Songs like "When It's Real Love" and
"The World Is So Cold (Without You)"
are emotionally driven, with a
focus on heartfelt lyrics and synth-heavy backdrops.
The album is
noted for its variety, incorporating disco and house influences
alongside indie rock, making it an eclectic yet cohesive listen.
Max
Valley's use of different styles—ranging from upbeat, danceable tracks
to more introspective pieces—keeps the album dynamic and engaging.

TTR 1-11 (Max The Tape Recorder's first 11 albums on one 7" reel)
The
first 11 Max The Tape Recorder albums on one single 7" reel.
Recorded on T-160 VHS tape cut into 1/4" you get over 8 hours of music
and over 130 tracks on this reel at 3 3/4 ips, with full frequency
spectrum 20Hz-20KHz.
Sometimes cute, beautiful, heavy, crazy, ridiculously loud, cheesy,
grand, annoying, alternative, scary, ingenious, weird,
funny, funky,
smooth, melodic, atonal, easy listening, industrial, rebellious,
symphonic, punkish, electronic, minimal, retro,
avant-garde, and of
course, always experimental, as in experimenting with sounds, with the
ways of recording, with music.
My fun under the Max The Tape Recorder name is to use all sorts of
tapes (reel-to-reel, cassettes, professional or budget tapes)
and fill
them with musical ideas, trying to get the best sound out of them
through numerous tricks (such as recording at a
faster speed than usual
to avoid drop-outs in the sound when using second-hand or budget tapes
etc...)
In other words I'm having fun filling tapes with different ideas of all
kinds.
Each tape I record on becomes an 8-track master then mixed on the
computer.
So if you like all kinds of music and like experimentation then you may
like this compilation of the first 11 albums under the MaxTTR artist
name.
Jam-packed compilation album of over 8 hours of music recorded directly
from the studio files.

Max
Evolution
The first compositions, first
songs, demos and previously unreleased tracks
The first 20 years
Here's
a special album with all the musical pieces I've composed and
recorded before what I would consider to be my "1st official album"
recorded
in 1998, "Max's Moods".
The goal of this album is to show the musical evolution of an artist
from his
first composition until the point where he has reached enough musical
maturity to be able to produce his first "real" album (an artist who,
by the way,
started with very little knowledge of the musical theory itself).
All the musical pieces are there, even some unfinished, abandoned or
forgotten ones.
Everything is being described in a 20 pages booklet.
